Chapter Ten

Snow fell heavy and thick around the area over night. The white blanket over the land and trees brightened the inside of the cabin through the windows. It must've been a solid foot of snow at least. Zara sat on the sofa, gazing at the fire while wearing a cozy sweatshirt. I emerged from the shower, a towel wrapped around my middle, to the warmth of the sitting room. Zara's nostrils flared and she smiled at me, her bottom lip held between her teeth.

"Do I smell good?" I laughed at her reaction. She nodded, holding her hand to me. I took it and climbed into her lap again, straddling her thighs—our new favorite sitting position. Zara's breath caught in her throat and her stomach muscles tightened. I kissed along the curves of her abs, while working her pants off her hips. She let me, leaving both of us naked. I met her gaze, her cheeks red and her eyes wide as she sat frozen, her hands gripping the sofa cushions. I stroked her thighs, from knee to hip, while kneeling on the floor between her legs.

Gaia, she's so beautiful, said Zara, her voice echoing again.

"You're beautiful and you don't even know it," I told her, gripping her hips and urging her toward me. The motion made her slouch and her thighs parted around me. Her body burned with heat. I ran my fingers over her lower stomach, barely grazing the top of her pussy as to gauge her reaction. "Trust me?"

She nodded, gnawing her bottom lip.
